A choice of external and internal coupling sleeves are available and are used to connect two tubes together. Wells has also independently designed a reducing coupler which enables various diameter of tubes to be joined.
Screw couplers
Engage over the corrugation helix. Generally 300mm long.
Push couplers
Provide a central swage stop to ensure an even joint. Generally 100mm long.
Both couplers require on-site grout sealing.
Applications
The Screw coupler is placed on the outside of the tube and is screwed on.
The Push coupler is placed on the inside of the tube and provides a good push in fit.
